About Us!
Music World & Drummer’s Den was opened in 2004 by husband and wife team David & Evelyn Kiviniemi, who also created and own Animal City Pet Center in Murfreesboro.
Music World started in only half of our current space at 2762 S. Church Street in Murfreesboro; only a 2500 square foot space! After a few years, we were able to expand and utilize the full 5000 square foot showroom as it is today.
David started as a snare drummer in the fifth grade and continued on to do both concert and marching band through his high school career.
While in high school, his band(s) performed in the Orange Bowl Parade in Miami, Florida and Cotton Bowl Parade in Dallas, Texas.
David also an All-Star Band Alumnus, winner of the John Phillip Sousa music award, as well as a former member of the MTSU Band of Blue and MTSU Percussion Ensemble.
David has over 50 yeas of experience teaching and performing behind a drum kit.
